We at First Baptist Church of West Valley City believe in the power of prayer. We believe that God hears and answers our prayers. We are diligent to pray for those in need in our community.

Prayer Ministries

Prayer meetings
            Many are scheduled throughout the year. Call the church office for information.

Prayer chain
            Prayer Warriors dedicated to pray and pass it on. To have a prayer request put on the prayer chain, click the "Prayer Request" link or call the church office for information.

Youth Prayer Wall
            Our purpose is to build a wall of protection and righteousness around our youth; by praying, in one accord, so that we will see God's life-changing power in the lives of our children, their friends, teachers, and schools.

Postal Prayers- 4th to 6th grades
            Our desire is to focus prayer from a community or global perspective to a very personal approach; by praying for known groups or individuals in need and tuning hearts to hear God speak while wacthing for God's power to be made evident.

Power of Prayer Parade- 1st to 3rd grades
            Our goal is to instill a vision, purpose, and desire to pray; by enlarging the scope of their world and it's needs, encouraging prayer for those in need and envisioning a world that lives by the truths in God's Word
